Our Visit to MicroSourcing: Real-World Industry Experience
We visited MicroSourcing in Quezon City. This trip was a great chance for us to see how a top outsourcing company works and what it’s like inside.
Ms. Heidee Enriquez, the CEO, welcomed us and talked about the importance of digital skills, adaptability, and always being curious. She encouraged us to use these industry visits to connect what we learn in school to real jobs.
We learned about MicroSourcing’s history and how they help clients around the world. The company is big on supporting Filipino professionals, offering flexible work and lots of chances for career growth.
We toured their modern office and saw how their workspaces and digital tools help people work well together. It was cool to see how they care about both productivity and employee well-being.
One of the best parts was the LinkedIn Workshop. We got tips on building our professional brand, making our profiles stand out, and using LinkedIn to find jobs and internships. We also learned about personal branding and being professional online.
We ended the day with a closing program and some time to chat with the MicroSourcing team. This visit inspired us to think about careers in IT-BPM and gave us a better idea of what companies are looking for in new tech professionals.
