Our Visit to Kollab: Real-World Tech Insights
We visited Kollab in Mandaluyong City. We were welcomed by Sir Ralph Regalado, Kollab’s Chief Scientist, who shared how Kollab empowers digital innovation through teamwork and creative tech solutions.
We learned a lot from the talks. Ms. Jazmine Calma showed us why a positive and inclusive work culture matters for both products and people. Sir Toni-Jan Monserrat explained how AI is used in real life, connecting what we learn in class to real-world projects in fields like agriculture and health.
Sir Miguel Siriban gave us practical tips on building a dev portfolio that stands out—like showing off our projects and telling our story through design. The panel discussion was really helpful too. We got to ask about internships, career tips, and how to keep learning in tech.
We ended the visit with a group photo and snacks, and had a chance to chat with the Kollab team. This experience made us realize how important it is to stay curious, keep learning, and be open to new opportunities in tech.
